you may finally be tempted by low-cost smartphones

Qualcomm has just introduced its new processor for entry-level smartphones. And it brings a lot of new features for the cheapest devices that will be released this year.

From now on, most of the next low-cost smartphones, which will cost around $112, will be more efficient and will be able to offer features such as NFC payments, HD+ resolution or dual APN on the back (with the possibility of using optical zoom and shooting in Full HD).

Qualcomm, a leading provider of SoC and processors for smartphones, has just launched its new Qualcomm 215 mobile platform.

With this essential component, the most affordable smartphones will have a 64-bit architecture, 50% more performance than the previous generation and a 28% increase in performance for video games.

This is made possible by a 4-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor and a 308 GPU graphics processor.

And with the advent of Quick Charge technology, the battery charging speed can increase by 75%.

Better entry-level smartphones

If all this may seem ordinary, it should be noted that until now, many of the features that are the standard on high-end or mid-range devices were not available on the most affordable devices.

However, with the Qualcomm 215 SoC, these smartphones will be able to get closer to these more expensive devices. As a result, usage may change, especially in emerging countries where smartphones under 112 dollar are very popular.

In European or North American countries, these low-cost mobiles could interest more people as soon as they finally have certain features such as NFC payments or better cameras.

At the same time, Google has already optimized the Android operating system and its applications for these devices, so that from a software perspective, you can have a better experience.
